Volunteer:

Goodwill Niagara’s volunteer program can provide a meaningful opportunity for you to give to an organization which is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of individuals, families and our community. We are grateful to all the volunteers who share their time and talents to help make our community a better place to live.

Goodwill Niagara offers many volunteer opportunities including:

MERCHANDISER: Do you have an interest in visual display? This position involves categorizing merchandise by colour and style; it also involves keeping merchandise well organized and attractive to customers.

DONATION SORTER: This position involves preparing items for our retail stores including examining and determining the value of donated merchandise.

COLLECTIBLES EVALUATOR: Do you have an interest in or knowledge of specialty items, collectibles, antiques or rare books? This position involves researching and referencing items for authenticity and pricing.

CLERICAL ASSISTANT: This is a great opportunity for someone who has fantastic organizational and administrative skills.

SPECIAL EVENT ASSISTANT: Do you like to plan parties? Special Events are conducted throughout the year, which require extra hands and minds.

Victoria, Successfully Suited Volunteer

HOST A DONATION DRIVE: Host a donation drive at your office, school or organization. Goodwill Niagara depends on donations of reusable goods from people in our community. One of the most successful ways we obtain them is through donation drives.

SUCCESSFULLY SUITED VOLUNTEER: This volunteer position involves working directly with clients and helping them to select appropriate interview attire.
